Where do the videos come from?

They are Jonathan Harchick's own YouTube uploads, played in YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedded player. JonsTube does not copy or rehost them.

Why does a video start muted?

Browsers only let videos start on their own when they are muted. Sound turns on the first time you click, tap or press a key.

Do I need an account?

No. History, likes, playlists, Watch later and subscriptions are saved in your browser only. Nothing is sent to a server, so they do not sync between devices.

How do I clear my data?

Open Your profile and choose "Clear all my JonsTube data". You can also pause history or turn on guest mode there.

Can I comment?

Comments live on YouTube. Each video page has a "Comments on YouTube" link.

Are there keyboard shortcuts?

Yes. Press ? on any page to see them all.

Can I follow new uploads?

Each channel has an RSS feed. See the RSS feeds page.

Can I install JonsTube?

Yes. In most browsers you can add JonsTube to your home screen or install it as an app.
